As we experience continued growth globally, we are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our busy Regulatory Affairs team and work as a Regulatory Affairs Assistant on a 12-month placement. 

This is an ideal opportunity to witness the life of a scientific consultant, working with a variety of clients, in a fast-paced – and hopefully fun – environment. 

Many of our placement students have returned to G&L as graduate-level employees, which we hope is a testament to our dynamic and inclusive culture.

The Role

You will join G&L's core team of Regulatory staff, based in our Belfast Centre of Excellence, and will be involved in various client projects.

Each of our projects is entirely bespoke, so you would rapidly get broad experience with many of the largest names in the industry. 

Our clients come to G&L for advice and guidance on new regulations and guidelines – so we are focused on being forward-thinking, progressive, and solutions-oriented.

Requirements

We are always looking for the best new talent and want to hear from individuals with:

  • The ability to understand and digest complex information, and then to design a way forward.
  • Confidence in the face of a lot of technical jargon.
  • The ability to participate during meetings – we want to hear your ideas and thoughts!
  • A thirst for knowledge and passion for learning and developing.
  • Excellent organisational skills to ensure our client deadlines and priorities are met and surpassed.
  • The applicants must be currently studying towards a life-sciences degree.

The person joining our team will be working in a hybrid-based role in our Belfast office.

We are looking to hire a locally based undergraduate, who is already based within an easy commute to our office in Belfast.  

We are not currently considering applications from non-Northern Ireland applications.
